About

Though it is customary for an artist to choose a particular mode of expression, I’ve chosen a dualistic approach, or I should say it chose me.  Both modes of my work, as different as they are, call to me to give them a voice.

The Painted Landscape is done in oil on canvas and The Divine Feminine images are mixed media and painted in gouache on watercolor paper, with cut paper, fabric, beads and text.

My work has been exhibited in juried shows at the Cape Cod Museum of Art and the Provincetown Art Association.  I was an exhibiting member of Kobalt Gallery in Provincetown and Boat Meadow Gallery in Dennis.

Having lived in Peterborough, NH for many years, my paintings were exhibited in numerous juried shows there.  In addition, I was a founding member of the Pastel Society of New Hampshire.

Mostly self-taught, I studied with Jessie Pollock and Jeanne Duval in New Hampshire, and with Joe McGurl, Bill Davis and Ed Chesnovitch on Cape Cod.

I currently reside full-time in Brewster, MA with my husband, Paul.
